Pengusaha Indonesia Mayoritas Belum Melek Internet

Pengusaha di Indonesia secara mayoritas dinilai belum melek teknologi. Sehingga pengusaha tersebut masih hanya mengandalkan jalur konvensional alias tidak menjadikan internet sebagai bagian dari bisnis mereka.

Menteri Perindustrian MS Hidayat menyebutkan internet belum dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang penting bagi mayoritas pengusaha di tanah air. Sehingga baru ada 75.000 pengusaha dari total 17 juta pengusaha yang baru memakai media online atau internet sebagai salah satu media pemasaran usahanya.

"Jumlah pengusaha yang memakai media online sebagai salah satu media pemasarannya tersebut masih sangat kecil atau baru hanya 0,4 persen dari total pengusaha di tanah air. Kami ingin meningkatkan jumlah pebisnis online tersebut. Harapannya bisa dua kali lipat di tahun depan," kata Hidayat di acara Bisnis Lokal Go Online di Jakarta, Rabu (11/1/2012).

Dalam sebuah survei yang dikutip MS Hidayat tentang pentingnya internet bagi UKM disebutkan bahwa sekitar 82,2 persen UKM di Indonesia belum membutuhkan teknologi informasi, sekitar 41,1 persen kurang mendapat dukungan keuangan dan sekitar 4,1 persen tidak memiliki akses informasi teknologi.

Hidayat menganggap bahwa mayoritas pengusaha Indonesia memang belum mengetahui edukasi tentang pentingnya pemasaran bisnis melalui media online. Padahal jika didukung dengan teknologi maka dapat lebih mengakselerasi pertumbuhan UKM di Indonesia. Layanan inventarisasi, pembayaran, perlindungan konsumen, pelayanan konsumen dan tim profesional akan lebih terintegrasi.

"Sehingga kami bekerjasama dengan Google dan beberapa kementerian terkait untuk lebih meningkatkan jumlah pengusaha online di tanah air," tambahnya.

Apalagi penyebaran pengusaha di tanah air cenderung belum merata. Hingga saat ini, jumlah pengusaha lokal masih terkonsentrasi sekitar 70 persen di Pulau Jawa, sisanya di luar Pulau Jawa.

"Di tahun 2014, kami ingin pengusaha bisa 60 persen di Jawa dan 40 persen di luar Jawa," katanya. (kompas.com)
