In the self help circles, there's a saying that goes "Take the average of the incomes of your 5 closest friends and you get yours."
Coincidentally, all highly successful Network Marketers say that most of their income comes from just 4 to 5 leaders in their organisation.
At first, I didn't think too much about my income being the average of my 5 closest friends. I didn't really believe in this statement because I didn't have 5 close friends. I only had 2 or 3 people in my life, aside from my family, that I would consider close confidants, and I didn't know what their incomes were.
But that's not really the message of that statement. What I now believe it's saying is you become the 5 people you associate with the most.
So for instance, you become an alcoholic if the 5 people you associate most with are alcoholics. You become a typical middle class citizen earning $70,000 a year if the 5 people you associate with most are that way.
You will become a multi-millionaire if the 5 people you associate with the most are multi-millionaires.
The only thing separating these groups of people is their mindset. This is why you should NEVER take financial advice or business advice from broke people living paycheck to paycheck if you want to become a Network Marketing millionaire.
To get anywhere substantial in business and life you've got to build an A-team. You've got to surround yourself with a close circle of winners. These are people who have the same aspirations, vision and values as you do and they are going to influence you the most.
This group won't just influence your income, but all aspects of your business and life. Which is why they all need to be winners.
A lot of new Network Marketers are happy if they can sponsor anybody into their business. I can certainly relate to that. But that's not the right mindset to have, and it's not what the professionals do. The Pros are very selective about who they sponsor. They sort for winners, and cut loose the losers.
And so should you.
So, the simple formula for creating massive wealth in Network Marketing is just sponsor 5 leaders who will never quit, who are 100% committed to their prosperity.
