A Tupperware party in the Queen City
The regal allure of Cebu provided a fitting venue to celebrate a royal year for the dealers of Tupperware Brands Philippines.
Held at the Waterfront Hotel, the annual gathering of the premiere direct selling company’s top dealers highlighted the company’s thrust to further strengthen its position as a direct selling leader, with the theme "Celebrating Changing Lives, Building the Future Together." Tupperware Brands Philippines president and managing director Perry Mogar welcomed the company’s independent business managers (IBMs) from all over the country to recognize their outstanding performances the past year and mark another year of a fruitful and lucrative career in direct selling.
Officially opening the event were folk dancers who paraded around the venue to set the mood for a colorful celebration. This year’s event was made even more exciting with the presence of Tupperware Brands’ new celebrity endorsers, who were presented along with the brands they represent.
Colour Collection chief makeup artist Bianca Valerio inspired a night of beauty as she performed free makeovers for lucky IBMs.
The most awaited part of the program was the awarding of the 2010 Pride of the Nation awardee Jenie Lepiten of Tupperware Brands Cebu branch, who was recognized for achieving outstanding sales the past year that reached P20 million. Aside from a trophy, Lepiten also received a cash bonus of P120,000 and an all-expenses-paid vacation to an exciting international location with her family.
New products under Tupper Home, Hanes, Playtex, Wonderbra, Popshop, iCloset and NaturCare were also presented via a mini fashion show. The special celebration was capped off by a special performance from Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, who serenaded guests with his signature ballad and dance hits.
A queenly affair that indeed marked success in direct selling from the world’s most trusted distributor of globally renowned brands. (malaya.com)
